Picking plum day

It is time for picking all of our plums. We have a big old tree with lots of yellow plums that tastes like if you’re in heaven ❤️. 

Today the sun is shining and I’m feeling happy as always when the sun is warming me ☀️☀️☀️.

Over the years I’ve gotten quite the tree climber. 

Yummy!!! This is just some of the plums I picked. I think I’ll make jam out of these ones.

Even the bees loves their sweet taste. Think it’s best to leave this so the won’t get angry 😬😄.

Sneak peak at Victor’s room

Victor’s room is now soon finished. Ordered some painting that I’m still waiting for but overall I’m done. 

Today Victor’s is out shopping with Mikael so Lykke sees her chance to explore his room.

This old owl that I found in an old attic will keep Victor company by night 🌛

Lego painting

When Victor fell asleep last night I snuck into his room and took some of his Lego. I wanted to make a painting where he could both see his Lego figures and play with them. 

First of all I painted the background in a frame.

I chose the pattern I was going to use and made small marks in the edges of the painting. With a straight stick and some measuring tape I placed the Lego at the board and fixed them with glue.

Now the painting is hanging in Victor’s room ✌🏻️😍. Hope he will like it when he gets home. 

Renovating again

I have gotten tired of the pink and purple striped wall in Lykke’s bedroom.

So I decided to shift Victor’s and Lykke’s room. 

Eeyyy look how fun I’m having😁😄

The first peace of wallpaper way easy to peal off, I instantly thought ”oh this will be a quick fix” (even though I knew that I was probably lying to myself 😄). But, some hours later the wallpaper was all gone…

Time to apply wall putty.

I’m painting half of the room and puting up a wall paper on the other half.

Almost done. Know it’s time for cleaning and decorating.

Påskvärme

Nu går påskhelgen mot sitt slut. Vi har haft riktig sommarvärme i några dagar. Barnen har sprungit nakna i vattenspridaren i trädgården, grillen har fått arbeta för fullt och jag har börjat vårröja ordentligt i trädgården.

Plommonträdet har fått sina första blommor.

Äntligen en kant runt jordgubbs- och (förhoppningsvis) sparrislandet (hoppas, hoppas de kommer upp i år).

Klematisen har skjutit fart ordentligt!

Och liten sittplats.

Nu hoppas jag på en riktigt fin sommar.

Lookie-Lookie

Nu har Urban Wool fått nyheter i webshopen. Mössan Lookie-Lookie är skapad för alla nybörjare och alla med lite humor. Mina barn var mycket nöjda med att placera ut ögon och mun.

Ögon och mun klipps ut efter eget tycke och smak.

Lykke fick köldtesta sin mössa idag och den funkade fint i snöiga Göteborg med -6.
